The following conditions of hire will be agreed at the time of booking the Hall.

 1.       Hire charges, duration of hire and other needs will be arranged with Mrs Orrock, the Chairman, or her deputy. 

2.       Cancellation of the booking within 48 hours of the agreed time may incur a cancellation fee. 

3.       A deposit of £50 will be necessary on booking the hall, as surety for the hall, and other facilities. 

4.       Hirers will leave their name, home address and telephone number with Mrs Orrock at the time of booking. She will inform the hirer who the ‘on duty’ committee member will be. The key will be collected from, and returned to, them by negotiation.  

7.       If a key is lost by the hirer, they will be charged £5.00 in addition to the hire charges. 

8.       Hirers will be charged for any damage to fixtures and fittings or breakage of china. 

9.       Due to laundering difficulties, hirers are required to supply their own tea cloths, towels etc. 

10.     All refuse must be taken away and disposed of by hirers.

The Village Hall Management Committee hope that these arrangements will be satisfactory to all concerned, but please contact them in case of any problems.
