What is involved in running the rec? How much does it cost and how is it funded? We keep the rec clear of all litter and debris. Because of the sports which regularly take place and the constant use by children, dogs are not allowed on the grounds.
Every August Bank Holiday Monday we hold a fete to raise money for rec facilities. Many people and business in the village give us a lot of help and encouragement in running this annual village party. Also car boot sales are held on a joint basis with other Radwinter groups. Organisations which have run them in past years are the Bowls Club, Mother & Toddlers Group and School PTA. If your organisation is interested in running one we would be pleased to hear from you. |
